HR Coordinator
Kick-start your HR career in a supportive, growing team. Coordinate documents, onboarding and people-focused admin while learning from experienced HR professionals.
The HR work is already here. We need someone to own it.
Our HR business has grown fast.
The opportunity: We're busier than ever.
The problem: Our HR team has reached the point where we need another pair of hands.
The solution: A superstar HR Coordinator.
We're looking for someone who's organised, switched on, eager to learn, and keen to kick-start or continue to grow their HR career.
You don't need years of HR experience. In fact, this role is perfect for someone looking to get their foot in the door and learn from a team that lives and breathes HR every day.
You'll work alongside our Director and HR Specialist, helping support clients across a range of industries. One day you could be preparing employment agreements, the next helping with onboarding, updating HR records, or making sure all the important details are exactly where they should be.
If you love a good checklist, enjoy helping people, and get a weird amount of satisfaction from colour-coded spreadsheets and organised files, we should probably talk.
What you'll be doing
You'll spend your days helping keep the HR wheels turning by:
Preparing employment agreements and other HR documents
Coordinating employee onboarding and off-boarding
Keeping employee records organised and up to date
Supporting recruitment administration
Completing reference and pre-employment checks
Drafting letters, forms and HR correspondence
Managing HR inboxes and responding to enquiries
Helping maintain HR compliance documentation
Supporting the team with day-to-day administration
Finding ways to make our systems and processes even better
About you
You'll probably be someone who:
Loves being organised
Notices the little details
Enjoys helping people
Has great written and verbal communication skills
Completed or almost completed an HR Qualification
Is confident using Microsoft Office and technology
Can juggle multiple tasks
Brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Isn't afraid to ask questions
Administration experience is a bonus, but we're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, great attention to detail, and a genuine interest in people and workplaces.
What you'll get:
Minimum of 20 hours per week (or more!)
Hands-on experience in a growing HR business
Exposure to a variety of industries and workplaces
Plenty of learning opportunities
Support and mentoring from our Director and HR Specialist
A role where your work genuinely makes a difference
A fun team environment where people enjoy coming to work
Coffee, laughs, office banter, and the chance to learn something new every day
Working with absolutely epic people (Steph made me write that)
Please note, initially we are looking for 6 months worth of support while we manage a large influx of projects; however if we keep growing the way we are, this role may evolve into something more permanent
