Based in Lincoln, Koko's Cabs and A1 Shuttles provide reliable, friendly, and professional passenger transport services throughout Christchurch. Our work is primarily airport transfers, ensuring customers arrive safely and on time, while also providing shuttle services throughout the city and surrounding areas.

About the role
We're looking for a reliable Shuttle Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team.
This role guarantees 15–20 hours of work per week to start, with growth opportunities to full time if you want; and is ideal for someone looking to supplement their income, enjoys driving, and values flexible working arrangements. We would consider someone looking to take a step back from a busy role or someone considering this as a retirement transition.
Most work involves transporting passengers to and from Christchurch Airport, with occasional private transfers and shuttle services around Christchurch and nearby areas.
You'll initially join us as an independent contractor, with payment per completed trip. As the business continues to grow, there is strong potential for the role to develop into a full-time position for the right person.
About you
You'll be someone who:
Holds a current New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence
Holds a current P Endorsement (mandatory)
Has a clean criminal history and is able to pass the required background checks
Is reliable, punctual, and presents themselves professionally
Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service
Is confident navigating Christchurch and surrounding areas
Is physically fit and capable of lifting and handling passenger luggage, including heavy suitcases
Can work independently and manage their time effectively
Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
