About the Role
This is a hands‑on leadership position where no two days look the same. You’ll oversee the full culinary operation, from menu design to event execution, ensuring every service reflects quality, consistency, and care.
You’ll be working an average of 35 hours per week. Can be rostered across 7 days, depending on business needs
Due to the nature of the business, hours may fluctuate up or down at times — plenty of notice is generally provided through a roster system that you will help manage.
Some early starts, evening work, and weekend shifts may be required
Key Responsibilities
Full menu planning across a wide range of offerings
Budgeting, cost control, and ordering
Leading kitchen operations with a calm, organised, task‑focused approach
Event execution — anything from Sammys to premium 5‑star plated dinners
Maintaining high food safety, quality, and presentation standards
Coaching and developing the kitchen team
Working collaboratively with the wider operations team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
About you:

Experience in a catering or commercial kitchen setting
Attention to detail and great time management
Full driver’s licence (essential for deliveries)
Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently
Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Strong task focus with a positive, solutions‑driven mindset
Someone who naturally creates momentum and keeps standards high
A leader who thrives under pressure and brings out the best in their team
Deep customer focus — you understand that every plate represents the brand
Experience across diverse service styles, from casual to premium dining
