About the Company
My client is a growing company committed to delivering excellence and innovation within the construction and trades industry. As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support strategic decision-making.
The Role
The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial health by managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and financial controls. You will work within the senior leadership to provide insights that drive performance and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
Manage year-end audits and liaise with external auditors and advisors
Develop and improve financial controls, systems, and processes
Support strategic planning and business decision-making with financial analysis
Assist your team with day to day financial operations (payroll, accounts payable/receivable etc)
Supervise and mentor finance team members
Requirements
Preferred, but not required - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software/ERP systems
Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
